Beyond the Walls
For more than a decade, I have had the blessing of walking alongside, encouraging and helping pastor hundreds of men behind the walls of a state prison and have found it to be one of the greatest joys of my ministry. The hunger for spiritual growth and the resulting life change I find there constantly refreshes me. I have such a heart for these men and a desire to continue to be part of their stories of redemption.
The need is great. As the recidivism rate in American prisons continues to rise and remain the highest of any nation in the world, I see the need they have for someone to offer these men the love of Jesus through friendship, training, and accountability.
A Voice Behind the Walls
It is the desire of 3 Rivers International to be a voice behind the walls and beyond as these men transition back into the mainstream of life. Our desire is not to see them merely survive, but to thrive as godly husbands, dads, employees, friends and disciples of Jesus Christ.
